U.S. steps up campaign to purge 'untrusted' Chinese apps

The Trump administration said on Wednesday it was stepping up efforts to purge "untrusted" Chinese apps from U.S. digital networks and called the Chineseowned shortvideo app TikTok and messenger app WeChat "significant threats."
